It has been so long since I have posted. This whole winter seems to have just been nothing but sick babies between JT and Chase. Chase is back to being sick again - he has a fever, and now Mommy has a fever. The most BEAUTIFUL Saturday of the year, and we are inside! JT has been doing better at soccer, but he seems more interested in the GIRLS on the other team! But they are all just so cute at this age! Not many other updates - Chase is saying "dada" of course! He goes in for his 6 mos checkup in a week, we just did our garden with tomatos, watermelons, strawberries and a blueberry bush (for some reason that is just funny to me). I want to add cucumbers, but I didn't see any at Lowe's yet...here are some pictures from the past couple weeks!

So I wanted to get the boys Valentine's pictures together. I haven't really been out by myself with the boys, but I figure why not....well I found out why not! I ended up taking Chase's seat out of the stroller and buckling JT in! I am soo not going anywhere else without the double stroller ever again! They did get some good shots though - so I can't be that upset! :)

So we just got over the stomach bug (everyone but JT, go figure!) and Sunday we decided to try ice skating. Can I just tell you HOW cute the toddler skates are?! JT was too funny, running on the ice! He didn't last very long (3 yr old attention span and all!) but it was fun while it lasted. The only thing I had to take pictures on was my camera phone though, but they turned out good enough. Sunday night we decided to break out the WII Fit, and to my astonishment, it was actually fun. I mean I know I won't burn as many calories as if I went to the gym, but hey its something, and really fun, so I may actually stick with it, and since we got it as an xmas gift, its free! I love the running part, JT likes to run along side and its just soo funny because he keeps running and getting close to the TV. Anyhow - here are pics from the ice skating rink!

Here are some pictures from Chase's 3 month appt. Sears did a really good job! I think I will start going there instead of the long drive to Picture People.

1-16-09

What drama last night! I got Chase's bath ready, then took him in his bedroom to get him ready. JT came in and was running around, all the sudden JT is on the floor and started crying. Its one of those moments where you know something is going to start to bleed, but you are not quite sure what...so I put Chase in the crib (naked!) and took JT downstairs to get some ice and see what the damage was. It stopped bleeding and was kinda swollen, but we called the dr and she said to just give him motrin and if its still bad in the morning call them. So this morning he was fine, and after about 10 minutes I went back up to get Chase changed (no bath after the drama!) and he was just laying there, in his birthday suit, just looking around! Any other time I put him in the crib he cries! So in the end JT is fine, and I should put Chase to bed in nothing, not even in a diaper!

Finally today Chase took a bath without crying! And actually took a nap in his crib. Although we put him in it last night and he woke up like 15 mins later. I am hoping to have him in the crib before I go back to work, which is in 2 weeks! I can't believe it snuck up like that! His baptism is the Sunday before I go back to work, and I just ordered his invites, and I think they turned out super cute! JT is JT. He found out his Daddy has old trains and now wants to play with them all the time! Which of course he can't because they are old and don't work right now, so then he has a fit! Looking forward to the spring so I can take them for walks or to the park (although worried about how I am going to manage both of them!) But other than that nothing is going on. Chase has his 2 month appt tomorrow.
