So I finally took the plunge and took BOTH kids to the gym! It did feel so good to work out, but the Body Pump class kills me. It hurts even today walking up and down the steps! And that class was on Wednesday! Anyhow - Chase was fussy till I got there, but JT found a friend. I asked him who she was and he said "just a gurl, mommy" John says his playboy ways are starting already, nice! I finished the shopping and wrapping, but not the christmas cards yet. My maternity leave is going quickly, and I had so many projects around the house I wanted to get done before going back! Those hopes are slowly being dashed!

So we finally did our Christmas pictures yesterday. Having them done at home may not look as nice, but it was soo much easier then carting two very active dogs through Picture People! I also made our Christmas cards on scrapblog.com, and really like it!

So much to post about! First John's birthday party was a success! He was totally surprised and most everyone who said they would be there was! We had about 130 people! It was great, and for the boys to show how "young" they all still are, it ended with keg stands and an arm wrestling competition. Nothing got broken, so I was happy with that!

Then we finally got finished decorating the Christmas tree, the first year I did it by myself, and the next morning (not to mention 5 am!) it falls and breaks ALL the glass ornaments, including the one from our honeymoon in Disney from 2001! So now its back up with only lights and garland, tied to the wall. So much for that!

Then today John took off work (its his actual birthday) and we spent the day together, got the boys pictures with Santa done (too cute, even if Chase would only look at the lights in the ceiling!) and now its naptime! Then we will be looking at Honda minivans (yes, I am about to be the total soccer mom!) and dinner!

JT seems to be finally out of the nighttime terrors stage, which is quite a relief! Chase has started smiling and still has bright blue eyes.

Today we went to Picture People for Chase's one month pictures!

Chase had his second drs appt today! His one month checkup and boy did he pass with flying colors! He is 12 pounds, 24 inches, in the 97th percentile for both! He is holding his head up too! JT is doing much better now that we moved his tv out of his room, and he loves his blue and white Christmas tree!

Chase's first holiday has come and gone! Thanksgiving was really nice this year, no running around, and JT was super good. No tantrums, was nice to everyone, and played with his cousin! He was really funny though, when his cousin Beau was crying he rushed over and said stop crying you are going to wake up Chase! It was really cute! JT is doing great with potty training, almost no accidents at all, and he is really good with Chase. He no longer watches tv at bedtime, and that seems to be making all the difference in the world. Chase is still not sleeping at night, but is starting to look more and more like JT every day!

Baby Chase is here! The past week has been a bit chaotic! JT ended up with Hand, Foot and Mouth disease, so he was only able to come to the hospital on Monday! It was so sad not seeing my boy for a whole week. Since we have been home, Chase's jaundice has gone down, and boy is he an eating boy! JT loves his new baby brother, and Chase is the first thing JT asks for when he wakes up or comes in the door. We are all still adjusting, but things are going better than I thought!
